Derrick came to Unity House in 2013 in need of temporary housing while he searched for a stable, long-term home for him and his son, Derrick Jr. Families can stay together at Unity House while our staff provides comprehensive services - including finding an affordable home and helping clients like Derrick build a financial foundation for a stable and hopeful future. Today, Derrick is happily married and attending the University of Louisville, working toward his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
